(the toy) was inspired by a famous Tiger in The Victoria and Albert Museum, for example. The initial idea was to create a cuddly plush toy from a dramatic looking sculpture in the museum. In this case, the best way to achieve the feel for the plush was to make several models in scale and get a feel for the final product.
Tippoo started his life as a sketch on paper and was crafted into a paper model and then sewn into a sample toy.
